National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, Casper WY

This curved mural at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center flanked an actual covered wagon with its wheels sunken into the blue floor. Ahead of visitors seated in the wagon was a point-of-view video of a recreated wagon train crossing a western river. A cool concept. An unexpected thrill to this museum was outdoors: the wild pronghorns along the road side. Beautiful but smaller than you might think.
