I’m pretty pleased with realistic portraits I painted of a wide variety of animals and birds for Rainforest Café in locations across the country. I’m less pleased with the look of old paper photos imperfectly preserved for 15-20 years, and enormously grateful that I can rely on digital pictures today.

I’ve always loved animals, and one of the great perks of painting nature murals is that each year I get to look through thousands of reference photos of fascinating creatures and learn about their habits.
